N.C. Sen. Malcolm Graham is hosting a town hall on March 28 at Greenville Memorial AME Zion Church.
The forum, to be held from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at 6116 Monteith Drive, will give District 40 constituents an opportunity to discuss legislative issues. Representatives from the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services as well as the Department of Transportation have been invited to attend and offer insights. Topics will include Medicaid expansion (Senate Bill 4), Charlotte-Douglas airport authority (Senate Bill 81), I-485 expansion, the Lynx Blue Line, funding for Bank of America Stadium renovations (House Bill 193) and Gov. Pat McCrory’s proposed budget.
“This will be an opportunity for citizens of District 40 to hear how decisions made by the majority party at the General Assembly are affecting them,” Graham said.
